questions & answers
Reese's Pieces Halloween cookies: your questions
Is there peanut butter in the Peanut Butter Blast cookie dough?
No. The dough is a double batch of my 3:2:1 butter cookie base. The peanut butter flavor comes from peanuts, peanut butter chips, Reese's Pieces and a Reese's cup on top.
How many cookies does this recipe make?
24 cookies. It's a double batch: 1½ cups flour, 1 cup butter, ½ cup sugar and 2 eggs.
What can I use instead of Reese's pumpkins when it's not Halloween?
Any mini Reese's cup works on top, so you can make these peanut butter cookies all year round.
When do I put the Reese's cups on the cookies?
Right after they come out of the oven. Press one onto each warm cookie so it settles into the top.
What temperature and time do I bake Reese's Pieces cookies?
Bake at 375°F for 8 to 10 minutes, until the edges are golden. No chilling needed.
Are these cookies nut-free?
No. They're packed with peanuts and peanut butter candy, so they're not safe for anyone with a peanut allergy. For a peanut-free option, try my easy chocolate chip cookies.
